For better or worse, we all have them. Judging by recent comments from my friends, it seems I have developed an unexpected reputation of my own.
- If you aren't already running a half marathon next weekend, you should join us for brunch.
- Do you have any interest in going to the concert with us, assuming you aren't out of town running through the desert or the mud somewhere?
- Let’s do breakfast. Oh, wait, are you doing one of those crack-of-dawn long run things again?
Action 127 – Create A Reputation. Yep, I have a reputation. And I’m proud to say that I have earned it. Heck, I am still earning it. Most weekends, I really am out running an event or training for my next one. And my friends know that these activities are important to me.
I've had other reputations in my life. Some good, some not so much. But a reputation for my commitment to physical fitness and activity? You best believe I am proud of this one. And I intend to keep that reputation alive for a long time to come.
Next up? The San Diego Half Marathon this Sunday, March 11th. I'll stake my reputation on it.
