It's the middle of the afternoon and I'm hungry. Not quite make an early dinner hungry, but definitely too hungry to ignore it. Back in the day, this would be the time for me to find a candy bar or a big bag of chips. But that's not really helpful for my long-term plans, so I need a different solution.
Action 202 - Eat Broccoli. Yes, that's right. I'm having broccoli for a snack. I understand that those who have known me for years will not believe this, but it's true. I found some fresh broccoli in the veggie drawer, added a tiny bit of low-cal ranch yogurt dressing, and I had my perfect mid-day snack.
I never thought I would be a person who ate broccoli, let alone enjoy it as a snack. Things are getting a little weird around here.
